Assignment 2 is designing the Lamp for the interviewer and creat the Lamp using the techniques that learned from the university. This is what I really want to do at university. However, COVID-19 made people lock up in the house. So, this assignment was started without creating the lamp.
It was hard to find the person who needs the new lamps around me because my family did not use the lamp. They used the room light even if they over the night or something else.
So, I focus on the person who needs the lamp most, and then it was my brother.
I interviewed my brother what he trying to do this year. He is studying at the University of Auckland, and he is in medical science. So, this year, he has to pass the exam and study hard so much. Also, somedays, he has to over the night to study more. This year, his goal is to pass the medical science and go to the next level to be the doctor. I asked some other desire he has right now. He wants to do the play games with his friends and do some over the night with his friends drinking beer. So I made the prototypes down here.
This is my first prototype. I designed the beer lamp. This Lamp focuses on his beer’s desire. He likes it but he said if you want to the lamp design like the beer, look at the lamp likes the Harrypottor’s butterbeer.
This is my second design. I designed the 4 clovers lamp design for my brother. because I thought this year he needs fortune. He gives me the advice about size of light source because it was too small. so, he suggested me to make it more bigger.
This is the last design I draw. I made the other design using 4 clovers again. This time I got the idea from my table wood clock. this clock is shining around when it turned on. So I made my lamp looks similar to this.
he picked the 3rd design and I got the advice from him and chose the Last lamp design. He said it is too simple down the lamp, and I made a lots of same design of lamp with different light design.
He picked the 3rd model of 3 rd design. So, I made the paper model for him.
I bring the 4 clover and takes more bigger light on it. and put the switch on the background of leaf.
