In assignment 1, we have chosen the Haiku. Haiku is like a short poem. In the first poster, we have to find the theme. At the second, we have to make the movie title that leads to the movie poster. Lastly, we have to make a storyboard that connected with other posters such as theme, movie title because it makes a connection to Haiku.
My Haiku is
"High autumn days/morning glories open/to whatever comes"

This is the first poster that I made. The poster title(theme) is the Life cycle.
I got the idea of the theme from the sentences "High autumn days" and "to whatever comes". This poster used black and white brief, geometric shapes and repetition techniques. I used the pencil sketch and draw again using Sharpie. the line and circle show the repetition, and the circle and arrow show the geometric shaps as well. When you look at the design, you can easy to imagin the clock. I draw the arrows to more looks like a clock and put the part of the radial technique to present the timeline and circle. Also, I drew only 4 circles because between the 6 to 9 o'clock there are only 7 and 8 o'clock. so, the number of circles show the number of time.
There are lots of meaning about the meaning of clock but this poster's clock is meaning the life cycle because the clock is the one of famous showing the cycle of our life.

This is my second poster for assignment 1. The movie title of this poster is To the End that shows the horror movies. This poster is a movie poster and you can see the text and colour as well. I used Photoshop to make this poster and I draw the elevator, blood and shadow using my photoshop, and made the light on the middle and highlight the movie title: to the end, and elevator. I made the red light on the elevator to scare the audience and highlighted the button and the screen on the top of the elevator to make more seriously. I put the blood on each side of the elevator to imagin the more horror and put the gradient side and the top to make darker and to focus on the middle of the poster.
The movie's background is normally green that shows the dark and midnight of building.

Title: To the end
This is my third poster and my Poster 3 is about storyboard. The storyboard titles Boy and Tree. It was my first time drawing the storyboard, and then it leads to taking a long time to think about the story. However, I got the idea of the story from "the giving tree" because of "the giving tree" that has the connection between my Haiku and storyboard. I show how the tree loves the boy like friendship. I bring the "to the end" title using the boy's death, and presented the life cycle of the new plant begins from the tree rings. I used a pencil and paper to draw this project.
The story goes vertically, and the storyline is tree stands on the field, a child comes, the tree gives apple, child tree becomes a friend. / adult cry, cut the tree, the tree is happy, the adult with the tree/ adults become grandpa, grandpa dies, the tree cries, new life begins. These show how the story is going as well
