This is the third board which is the storyboard. It was hard to do because I never did the storyboard and never think about the story. However, the book “the giving tree” gives me an answer. This book is a very famous book around the world and also have some great messages inside. So, I bring took the story and rearrange to my own style of story.
In the story, the first part (setting the scene) shows the tree and the boy became a friend. It was started from a tree gives an apple to a boy, and then they can become a friend. The second (the twist) part shows some year ago, the boy becomes the adult, however, he needs the money, so event shows the adult(child) cut down the trees using an ax. However, the tree was not sad, this part I used the sunshine top of the tree that shows the tree's feeling. Last part (The reveal, closing scene) shows the child becomes grandpa and meet the tree. After grandpa dies, the rains come on the trees that show the tree is sad about his death, and then the new plants start from the wood ring that shows a new start.
My theme and title was life cycle and to the end and this storyboard shows these as well. There is the life cycle about the tree. The tree was repeated by new plants on the ring. The grandpa also shows the life cycle as well, and “to the end” title which from poster 2 shows from the grandpa death.

good/bad
I never made the storyboard before. So, this topic was hard and hard to make the story because we have to find a story that connection between the Haiku and storyboard. Also, it was hard to draw because I do not have many tools for paint or draw the poster and my hand drawing skills not quite good, and my photoshop drawing skills not very good too. However, I think the story is very good for my Haiku. This story catches both the theme and the title from poster 1 and 2.
